I have a 2012 KX040-4, is there a conversion kit that I can buy to turn my 4 way blade into a 6 way blade?

I’m surprised yours has a 4 way blade, most excavators have simple up and down.

It would involve a lot of custom fab work and hydraulic customization.

It would be a pretty big job to do and not be rigged up. It’s probably a better value to take the excavator to the dealer and load up another one that has a 6 way blade. Instead of that I would buy a hydraulic tilt grading bucket. I think that’s better than a blade anyway. I’ll buy my next excavator with a regular up/down blade.

Kubota O40 comes with 4 or 6 way blades and I find the 6 way to be useful enough for blading things out after ditching or just cleaning up a mess although I can't see needing the 6W most of the time.
