3-Point Hitch 4' or 5' tiller for CK20S?

Agree. HST helps you go slow in the heavy stuff and allows us to run a 60" Kubota tiller on our Kubota B7500HST (16PTO HP). It is on the edge of being workable, but it can be done.

After reviewing the specs on your make and model, and the type of soil that you will be working in, I also agree that the 5 foot model would be appropriate. Best wishes.

Need some advice from more experienced tractor owners.
I plan to buy a rotary tiller from Tractor Supply for my CK20S.
First, what service can one expect from the TS tillers? The 4' and 5' are the same price.
Second, I know the 5' model is too large for the CK20 but I planned to remove one set of tines to bring the width down to about 52". That way if I ever get a larger tractor I would have the larger tiller to match.

Or, should I just go with the 4' tiller as the 5' unit is about a 60lbs. heavier?

Hi Hfields,
With the HST you have the luxury of running at 2500-2600 to get your PTO at 540 and go as slow or fast as the soils allow. With the gear tractor you will just have to pick a lower range and gear to adjust your ground speed. You DO want to make sure with any tractor that you run the RPMs to the hash mark that indicates where you hit 540 on the PTO. The 5 foot will get you out past the wheels and will till the soil. You will have to judge how effectively it is working in you soil conditions and either go a little slower or faster.
I would not have any worry about putting a 5' tiller on the CK20S.
