Anyone out there have an idea what a 4 in 1 bucket for a full sized John Deere is worth? Its 1.25 cu yard and in like new condition. The cutting edges are still sharp, very little use. It came off of my JD 210C, but I'm pretty sure it will fit most any full sized commercial JD machine. I tried a Google search for values but can't seem to find just a bucket for sale. I was thinking ~ $3,500, that seem about right?

I bought a second hand one 5 years ago when I bought my Kubota. I had the dealer put teeth on it & I believe I paid $3,000. Your price of $3,500 sounds pretty close.

I'd say you are pretty close with that price.

If I were you, I'd do some research and find out if your specific bucket would also fit any other Deere backhoes. If it fits multiple loaders, that vastly broadens the 4-in-1 buckets appeal on the used market.

My info shows that there are two different 210C mounts, a narrow version and a wider one. The wider mount will fit a 310C, 310D, 410C, 410D, 510C and 510D. Find out which mount that you have from your Deere dealer. If you have the wider one, you are in a much better position to sell the 4-in-1.

Thanks, I was not aware of there being 2 different mounts, I'll have to find out just what the difference is.

Looks like my price guess was pretty close. My tractor came with both type loader buckets, I never could get used to a 4 in 1.

I priced a new 72” 4in1 bucket recently for an L39 Kubota and it was 3K. I would think you are in the right price range for an industrial bucket. Have you looked on E-Bay? Seems like I have seen them there in the past for full size TLB’s.

I've owned both Kubota and full size machines and let me tell you, the full size machine buckets cost at least 50% more than little Kubota buckets. The Kubota buckets are not only smaller in size, but thinner gauge steel and much cheaper to ship because of their lighter weight.

Here's a used John Deere 4/1 bucket on on Ebay.

Thanks for the E-Bay tip, and I agree the commercial full sized buckets should cost more.

Builder- I looked at the one you found on E-Bay and mine is definately nicer, it has heavy duty hooks and is 1.25 yd, so that comes back to $3,500 I suppose. Gonna start advertising it and I'll let you all know if/when it sells.
