I would suggest keeping a small notepad and pen in the tool box. Write down what happened the first time with the date, hours and symptoms. Next time it happens, do the same. This will allow you to show the dealer/rep a pattern with much more accuracy than trying to remember every detail. It's also a dated log of incidents that documents the ongoing issue, hard for them to dismiss.
