I've been wanting more rear hydraulics since I bought my 3520...always wanted to plumb an Solenoid Valve bank into a PB Circuit...I've got a cabbed machine, so I dont have the luxury of some of the super slick Open Station installs I've seen here...Anywho, so now I'm thinking of just biting the bullet and going with the dreaded diverter kit from JD...
Anybody have any real world feedback on it? How does it work, how do you like it, would you buy it again? etc...
Thanks for any feedback.

I have one. Works great for me. Would definetly buy again. Have my mower deck plugged in one outlet. Use the other one when I have my angle back blade on. No compliants.

I have one: Works ok. I also plumbed a electric valve on my power beyond (for the 4-in-1). So I have one full time rear, two diverter circuits on the rear. I like the fact that I have the joystick for control.

How do you like the Solenoid valve? I may end up with a similar solution as what you have, I was thinking about permenantly plumbing in my HTL...

My concern with that on SOME applications is with a solenoid valve its either ON or OFF...no nice feathering like you can with a mechanical valve. Thats what has me thinking about the diverter...as much as I dont like the idea of sharing the front circuits....Got another question...can you toggle the diverter even if your FEL was fully loaded with a bucket of dirt or what have you?

I guess I misunderstood the question. I actually have the diverter installed, not a solenoid valve. I also have the extra full time rear operated via a lever and two outlet packs that are operated via joystick once the diverter switch is pushed. The lever operates my 4 in 1 bucket as well. Yes, with the diverter you can toggle back and forth with full bucket with no problems, at least on mine I haven't had any problems.

The JD 110TLB is basically a 4000 series tractor hulked up with a HD loader and hoe.

The hydraulic options are configured with an electric/hydraulic diverter.

It works very well. Reliable, durable.

Biggest single complaint - operator forgetfullness - it's easy to forget that the function is switched between either the front or rear hydraulics.

Using the loader - switch to the rear blade. Forget it's on the rear top or tilt functions for the blade and try to work the loader...

Somewhat annoying but it's just 'cause I'm not paying close enough attention!

It appears the lines up to the 4-in-1 are small enough that they appear to act as restrictors on the speed. If it was still too fast you could always put in an orfice restrictor. No, it's not as nice as a porportional control but it works. Some times I want a quicker response than I have.

Yes, you can transition on the diverter with a load. I have not timed to see how long it would hold.

I put a big red LED on the loader mast to show the diverter was in "rear". That way it is in my sight line.
