When i pull back on the 3pt hitch handle to lift the hitch it works fine until I get all the way up and then it bogs tractor down as the relief valve kicks in and stays that way. I can here a click in and out from somewhere on the tractor when i move valve in the last 1 inch of travel. I dont think that should do that. You should be able to pull back all the way and leave it without the relief valve kicking in. I have to push it back down an inch to keep it from doing that. I think out of adjustment what do you guys think?

I agree. I know how to make the adjustment on a Kubota B2710 to fix that problem, but I don't know on the New Holland. I would expect the adjustment to be described in the manual as it is with the Kubota, but it may not be. At any rate, I'll bet it's a simple adjustment that either your owner's manual or your dealer should describe for you if no one on this forum does.

Mike,

Do you have a drawbar pickup hitch installed for a trailer.
On mine, the pickup hitch arms lift the drawbar hitch the last 0.5" of travel on the arms to operate the locking trip mechanism. I then have to drop the arms a fraction for the drawbar weight to be taken off the arms.

The attached photo might clarify my configuration

I dont have the the pick-up hitch you describe. I can see what will have to be adjusted and I think it will be easy but will call dealer and have them make sure. This tractor seems to have adjustments for everything but getting at them is the hard part. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

roto,

I don't know if this could be your problem or not but it is easy to check so I will pass it on. On my TC29D if I install the pins for the arms as close together as they go, then pull the hydraulic arm way up it will make that same noise. I just happen to run into that by accident. So I just allow the arms to spread out some from the closet setting. Now I am not sure if this is the same thing but it is an easy check. Also my MMM has to on to do it.

Roto,

There is a adjustment rod under the fender behind the rear tire. If you turn the adjusment nut to lengthen this rod it will fix the problem with the relief valve spitting off.

I have attached a pic so you can identify it. this pic was taken from in front of the tire.

hope this helps,
