3Pt drop speed on Jinma JM200LE

I have a Jinma JM200LE. The 3 PT. drops very fast. The manual describes a knob to controll the rate. The only knob I can find is at the base of and in front of the seat. I can't move the knob by hand in either direction. Any help? Also the tractor has a 3cyl engine but the manual shows 2cyl. Can anyone tell me about the 3cyl specs?

There is a small set screw that locks on the screw threads of the knob. The hole for that screw points at the gear shift lever, it's probably tight. Really no need to ever have it tight since I've never seen my flow control knob drift open or closed. Hope this solves the problem. I mentioned in an earlier thread that the knob on my tractor is really hard to open to let an implement drop faster if the 3 point has a load on it in the raised position. Sounds like your's is the tight set screw. Hope this helps.

As for the engine, look on the side of the block behind the exahust manifold and you should see the numbers 380 cast in the block. Also check the plate on the valve cover. It's probably a YangDong Y380T engine. Holds 4 qts of 15-40w diesel rated engine oil with a new filter. You can try to do a search on the internet for specs. If this is what you have then it's the same as my engine and I may be able to help you out, but I don't have a spare manual.

Mine was rusted in place at delivery. Exhibited the same problems you describe. The round knob will likely break, so remove it before you try to take out the valve. Once the knob is off, you should be able to get a wrench on the valve body itself. Gave mine a good WD40 bath till the valve opened and closed without resistance. Reinstalled, no problem since.
