I made this 3pt ballast by welding drawpins on the end of the bar and collecting plates free at garage sales. I don't use this very often, took a picture while I had it on today moving some dirt.

I did the same...sort of, on my 5030 I had years back. I made brackets that attached to the extra square holes stamped in the wheel rims and stacked weight plates in the wheel recesses, like 200 pounds on each side.

My big Kubota's both have cast weights as intergral parts of the inner rims.

I made something similar for a JD 4110 I had a few years ago,,built a box and filled it with cement then put a draw bar thru it,,, ended up working well. My new tractor has loaded tires,,,,my god I love them,,,,,wouldn't do without them now


BTW your tractor reminds of a muscle head in a gym doing curls,,,,lol

I like being able to take the weight off easily because I mostly mow and don't want the extra weight on the grass.
It does look like a guy doing curls, I'll have to put a doo-rag on the ROPs, that seems to be what all the guys at the gym wear.
