I am thinking I'd like to be able to use some attachments with my FEL. Things like my carry all and landscape rake. Would be good for moving attachments about as well.

My plan is to weld these:

To one of these:

Obviously there would be some minor modifications required.

Has anyone does this before and was it successful?

People have put SSQA plates on a 3-pt quick attach. They have all liked it. Only thing I've noticed is consider your angles. Some have kicked the bottom (or was it the top) out 4"-6" to get the range of motion they want. So yeah, do a search or two and have at it. Post pictures and outcomes!

Will do regarding the pictures. But I'm not sure I understand you @aeblank about the angles? What do you mean and where have people "kicked the bottom out"? I anticipate running a bit of square along the bottom, depending on how heavy the QA actually is, and then fitting the Euro hitch about half way from top to bottom. I think I need to widen where the Euro hitch will be welded to the QA so again some more square.

I did some searching and as you say there are Skid Steer attachments that do this but not much tractor. I think this is a simple way to go about it, and cheap, and wonder why no-one else has done it. Tractor attachments in Oz are expensive and this should only cost me AUD$400 ($200 for the QA, $150 for the Euro and $50 in freight/misc). A 6 foot Land Pride Scraper Grader is AUD$2800 for example.

I bought a SSQA to 3 point adapter. It has extra rollback angle built in.

I use the boxblade on it a lot.

There have been threads about a Euro hitch to 3 point Quick Hitch adapter, use the Google Custom Search box at the top of the page to look for them.

The angle I was referring to is in Xfaxman's 3rd picture. The angle of the loader plate vs. the angle of the 3-pt. There is some 20 degrees difference. Just think that through before welding the two together.

This is what we are referring to, but you may not need as much on your tractor FEL.
