3cylinder perkins diesel

I have a Ferguson 40 that has a diesel engine its a 3cylinder Perkins the tractor was gas an the man I got it from had a diesel put in it he has passed so I got it from his wife an she didn't now anything about it much the engine runs good starts easy but fuel is coming out where you check the oil would you now what could be causing that to happen any help would be greatly appreciated Thanks

I bet English is not boane648 first language.



If u mean that gas is coming out of the dip stick hole, I get there is more than one issue. Maybe a stuck float and something wrong with a piston or sleeve. But would think that u would have a very noticeable miss.
