3940 gst won't crank

My 3940 gst displays "shuttle neutral" whenever I try to crank it. It is just over 2 years old with 256 hours on it. I have looked for a neutral safety switch but apparently it is located inside the transmission. Any help would be appreciated.

Disconnect the harness connector & check switch resistance with ohm meter?
You'll probably need a wiring diagram to figure out which terminals on the connector to check.

One of the issues is I do not know where the shuttle indicator switch is. I have removed the covers but it is not visible there. I am afraid it is inside the transmission.

I know absolutely nothing about your tractor, but when I have an issue, I always check the fuses first. Easiest thing to check when t comes to electronics.

If you know it's the sensor and just tying to locate it, sorry for my .02

Well I found it. Mice have been busy. I was fortunate they haven't done more damage.

That's good the damage wasn't worse. I often worry about the same thing happening to my tractor but I'm not sure there is anything to do to prevent it. I don't think I can get my barn tight enough to keep mice out.

My KTAC insurance is up for renewal on my L4400 with 250 hours and I want to know if you wiring issue with rodent damage was covered or would be if available by the Kubota insurance???

I repaired it myself. I did use ktac for another issue and have no complaints.
