I have a 3720 with the joystick EH 3rd SCV kit. When I lift my MMM up using the EH 3rd SCV controls on the joystick it will not hold the mower in the up position. I have the 72D MMM. Once I have relased the raise button the MMM will leak down within 15 seconds to the down position. Please help me figure out this problem. Also what is the square button used for that is infront of the raise/lower buttons on the joystick control.

Can you add just a little more color...is the tractor new to you, has it always done this since you've owned it, did it just start, what else works or doesn't work properly on the hydraulics, does it happen only when other hydraulic functions are in certain positions. Just a little more info to help trouble shoot may help.

Also see other current post on almost the same topic.

It is a brand new unit with 20 hours on it. I just installed the MMM last week. All other functions work just fine. Loader moves flawlessly in every direction. This is the first implement to be hooked into rear outlets. I have checked all connections and are in good working order. Flow open/close valve on rear scv is in correct positon. Fluids are filled to spec. I have seen other similar posts and my switch does not stick and i know how to change from lock to regen on loader joystick. I do not know what the square button does on the joystick handle though. Dealer has looked at unit and is uncertain of problem I hope this is enough info for some help

This option should have a tee hand operated bleed valve. Try turning it to the closed position and then see if the mower will leak down. This valve is used to connect and disconnect the hoses. The operation of it is outlined in the om.

Hope this helps.

I'm guessing this is it.

I know the valve with thandle locks the hydraulics up. I am wondering if the rear scv will hold up the mmm without having to turn this valve e erytime. Also on the eh controls what is the square button in front of the up down buttons do. I don't Have a owners manual.

The tee valve is to aid in connecting and disconnecting the Hyd lines due to the EH valves near 0 leakage. It has a open and closed position. The closed position is the operating position.

The switch only utilizes the up and down function but is a common part for other model units.

Thanks

what he said.

basically opening that valve opens the two scv quick connects to tank. (Which is just relieving any pressure so you can get hoses hooked up). You have to close the valve for normal operation or your mower will bleed down as you describe.

Opening that valve is basically putting the scv in "Float" if that makes more sense to you.
