3720 to 3046 trade

I've had my 3720 for I want to say about 10yrs now. Since they first came out. I've been waiting for Deere to upgrade the series and like what I see, but I'm wondering about how the two compare and if the emissions DPF is much of a hassle? I realy like teh idea of the E throttle, and the DPF should tame much of the smoke/stink especially when cold, but how well are they working in the field?

Is the tier 4 emissions deal that scary that nobody is buying/talking about them?

MTF looked pretty dead as well. I tried a search on 3046 as well as 3r and did not find much.

Oh well MTF never thrilled me anyhow. TBN has always been solid for me. Guess I'll try GTT...

I traded my 4100 for a 3038e with loader last summer & am completely satisfied, came with FEL had dealer add cruise because I do a lot of mowing with finish mower. On the emissions it has an automatic ReGen function that has activated once in the 46 hours on the machine message said keep it at 1500 rpm or above while in ReGen.

I recently got a 3046R and think it's a great little tractor with lots of power and potential. Haven't had any problems with the emissions and been quite reliable.
