Well the dealer dropped of my 3720 cab yesterday. They haven't got the turf tires yet so he dropped it off with unloaded R4's. The only thing I am still waiting on is the snowblower. Hopefully I won't need that for a while. I'm also getting either 4" or 6" wheel extensions from Unverferth.
I got an SC-25 stump grinder and a grapple bucket (72") with it. The loader and 72" MMM I swapped from my 3320. Inside it's got all the goodies, air seat, radio, etc. Front/rear lights/wipers. In the rear I've got everything, power to the rear, electric diverters (Make running the stump grinder sweet), etc. (note that Deere doesn't show power to the rear on cab models but the dealers can do it). I can't believe how nice the cab is and why I didn't get a cab when I got my 3320 last year.
Anyway, spent yesterday with the stump grinder (ground down maybe 10 stumps) and the using the grapple cleaning up trees and storm damage. Both work great. the grinder works real well and can use all of the 35pto hp if you want to. (It's rated for 15-35hp). The Grapple works great. You can pick up all sorts of junk with it. The bucket is much deeper than my 61"HD bucket. It holds a lot.
The increase of power (from 32 to 44) going from the 3320 is quite noticable. Especially when accellerating. I'm sure it helped when using the grinder also. I was using the stump grinder (800+lbs) for ballast but the rear end still felt light carrying heavy trees with the grapple and I had one big instance of the pucker factor where It felt like I was going over (I'll feel better getting those 4 or 6" extensions). Using the ballast block (1000-1100lbs and compact) it felt much more stable today. I am getting my turfs loaded when I get them so that'll be another 900lbs of weight to add to the stability.
Anyway, I'm 'wicked' excited to finally get it. It was a tough decision on whether to trade in my 3320 or 2305 but the lot the 2305 is used to maintain is only 2.6 acres and I couldn't justfy moving the 3320 down there.
I need them to import the 2320 and 2520 cab models they sell in the UK/ireland.
