3616 hst start sequence issue

Got on the tractor today, 3616 hst, push in clutch and it starts cranking. The key isn't even on yet. Ok,let off clutch,turn key on for glow plug cycle, push in clutch, and it starts cranking. So then I turned the key and it started. The starter is getting the order to crank whenever the clutch is pushed in......what the heck could it be? Even when running if I push the clutch, the starter tried to engage the spinning flywheel. Any ideas from the crowd?

Sounds like a bad ignition switch...

Well I fixed the issue. I posted while I was still in freak out mode. There are 4 blue relays that live behind the shuttle shift blocking plug. I switched them around and it solved my clutch/starter issue and moved issues to the headlight circuit. I remembered I had a couple spare relays from a previous headlight problem. Through trial and error I was able to find the bad relay and all is well again.
Thanks for your suggestion on the start switch, but I had pretty much ruled that out before I posted.
