3525 Hand Throttle

Does anyone know the size of the nut that holds the throttle cable to the engine? I had to mow using just my foot throttle the other day! Pain in the butt! I guess the nut must have vibrated off. I contacted my dealer and nobody will tell me a size. They want me to buy an entirely new cable.

Don't know for sure, but I'd guess it's about a #8-32 or similarly sized metric. You might have to get one each of a few different sizes, but that's still much cheaper than a new cable assembly.
