3525 fuel tank

The fuel tank on my 3525 is full of what looks like some kind of greenish paint chips. They keep clogging my fuel lines and filters. Has anybody had this problem? If so, how did you fix it?

The fuel tank on my 3525 is full of what looks like some kind of greenish paint chips. They keep clogging my fuel lines and filters. Has anybody had this problem? If so, how did you fix it?

I would take the tank off, flush it out good, clean the inside good with solvent, get some fuel tank sealer like they use on motorcycle tanks, prep the inside of the tank with acid as the sealer directions will say to, and then coat the inside of the tank with the sealer. I think that would be a long term solution.
