I just bought a 3520 and an mx5 mower. I am not happy with the low clearance of the mower in the fully raised position. Has anyone remounted the hitch pins lower on the mower to get it to lift higher when raised?
I mentioned it to the dealer and it was kind of an "oh well..."

sounds like you could beneift from a hydraulic top link! That should be convienit enough to get you plenty of lift right from your seat. Do you have rear remotes that arent being used? If you dont know what im talking about, here is video of mine installed

Yes, I got the top and tilt. But the front of the mower still hits the ground in uneven terrain or sloping turns. The tilt cylinder also fades or bleeds and I have to adjust every 10-15 minutes. Just trying to get my "punch list" together for warranty.

hi wnc,

Just curious... you have removed the side braces from the lift arms and screwed the ends up as far as they'd go?

I have the same set-up and found for the MX-5 that got it higher & gave a larger range of adjustment than the normal set-up most implements "prefer"... just a PITA to switch back eack time.

Watch the PTO shaft doesn't push into the rear if yours is cut tight.
