Just took delivery of a new 3520 cab. But am concered about the power or lack of. with the tractor in high range it has all it can do to roll down the road. push the hydro to the floor with out running the motor wide open it bogs down? in 4 wheel drive forget high range. any thoughts? called the dealer last week but have not heard back yet.

Try checking your brakes , mine hang up sometimes ,makes it a real dog . Follow the linkage back to where it goes into the housing and blast it with some penetrant , works for me most of the time . hope it helps

I remember of thinking the same as you when I first got my 3720 cab tractor. The power will greatly improve as it gets broken in and you'll notice it more so in high range. I'd still check the brakes as suggested above.
Good luck with your new tractor.

Running a hydro is different than other tractors. The pedal is not an accelerator, it's a pump flow control.

If it starts to bog down you need to LET UP on the pedal, not push harder. Even my 75hp New Holland suffers in high range and high gear on the road.

Once the engine is broken in, it will change. Still, you will likely need to run the engine at max power to get down the road in high gear with the pedal most of the way to the floor, hit a hill and you will certainly need to let up on the pedal to keep the power up. It's not abnormal - many many tractors can barely run at full throttle in the highest gear.

That higher gear is often for a lower range. In an HST you don't realize this because the gear is an infinitely variable ratio provided by a pump.

I vote for brakes like toolbox mentioned. I had the exact same issue this year (I had created a post for it at the time and found the issue myself after looking around). Long story short, I had just got done tilling and went to do the couple mile drive back to my house and it was bogging down really bad, wouldn't hardly move in high range. A little penetrating oil and a mallet resolved the issue and hasn't happened since. Must have got some dirt in the linkage where it meets the housing.

Well dealer came and tested came to the conclusion charley was right? The E Hydro does'nt react as fast as a manual hydro? we will see he said use it till broken in and see if I get more comfortable? If not better by spring that's what the warrenty is for
