What do you think of your tractor? I'm seriously considering one of the 25 series tractors...

I would have no problems with a 3325, but I sure would like the power steering and live PTO of the 3525. And, I could use the hydraulic remote option on the 3525 as well.

How do you guys like your tractors, and how is the manual steering on the 3325? How well does the draft control work on the 3pt hitch for those of you who do any plowing or such with the tractor?

Sorry for all the questions, just wanting to know... If I get one, it will likely be sight unseen, as none of the dealers close to me have one in stock and say they won't be getting any unless someone orders one.

Thanks!

Brian

i have a 4500 2wd, i dont think its too much more than the 3525 and it comes with remotes, i got it with a front end loader and as far as im concerned it doubles the value. i am very happy with it. i have herd the 3525 is an excellent tractor but dont have first hand knowledge.

Well here is my 2 cents for all its worth, i have a 2006 3525di with fel, i like the tractor very much, i don't have any negative comments to make about it, before i bought my tractor i have a friend who owns a 3325 and i played with it for a while and really liked it alot, it was the 3325 that got me looking at the 3525's. I just liked the idea of power steering, if you think you may ever want an fel you will need power steering. the tractor is really simple ( thats what i really like about it) has plenty of power, i use mine primarily for log skidding (hardwoods mostly) and for loading work (dirt, limestone, etc.) good luck on your choice, if you need anymore info i don't mind giving it to ya.

I have the 3525 w/FEL and have been very pleased with the tractor. I have around 175 hours on it. The FEL has worked great and I also pull a 6 foot brush cutter. As the others mentioned, I do enjoy the power steering.

How do you guys like the power? If I get one, it will be an upgrade (that's an understatement!! /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif) from my '52 Ford 8N. I've got a 5ft Rhino SE5 bushhog... and I'm wondering if that will really be too small for the tractor. How does it run a 6 ft cutter? If you guys with 6 footers can cut a 6ft swath through just about anything at 3-4mph, then it might be worth it to get a bigger cutter.

Thanks for the replies!!

I don't let my grass get way too tall, but I usually bushog with the 6 foot cutter in low 4 and it looks good when done. I usually cut it once a month. I was told by the dealer that it would pull a 7 ft finish mower.
