3320 steering issue

Greetings,

I have a 05 3320 with around 300 hours on it. Occasionally, it seems to loose its power steering. This problem is somewhat rare (maybe once in every 5 hours of use), and occurs at low RPM, full throttle or at any position within a turn. Often after turning the wheel back and forth it corrects the problem and the tractor steers at it should.

The first time this happened, the tractor was covered in mud and gravel. I washed the tractor and checked for any debris or build up. I found nothing.

Anyone else have a similar problem? I thought I would consult all of you before I bring it to the dealer.

My steering issues ended up being the steering cylinder.
The intermittent nature of your problem makes it quite a bit different than mine, but you never know...

My 3120 does the same thing and I'm not sure what it is. I wonder if the inline strainer could be restricted or something. If you find a cause please post back I'd like to know. My dealer could not provide answers. I'm not suprised
