I am wondering if there is an easy fix for my 3320 parking brake. I have to pull the button out on the lever before I lift the lever or it will not catch and just flops back down. I am often wearing gloves and have to remove the gloves to grip the button.

I would spritz some WD-40 up in it. Neither the online parts catalog not the technical repair manual show a breakdown of individual parts for the lever, but there must be a spring up in it somewhere. It might be binding on something.

Bspring or anyone else,
Did you ever get this fixed? I have the same issue. I sprayed some WD-40 around it but it didn't seem to do much.

Thanks

No, 4 years later and I am still just dealing with it.

I had the same issue on my 2005 3520. I sprayed lots of WD-40 on the button and it fixed the issue.

Maybe spray as much as possible around the button and try and force some lubricant behind the button when the handle is in the highest position?

Best,

There is no tension on the button. It feels like if there were a spring in there that it is broken.
