3320 Glow plugs and activation

New to this tractor. Help appreciated. Is the activation part of the key, like maybe once key is inserted, pushing farther and holding would activate the plugs?

My 3720; turn key run, depress key in a little bit and hold for 5-30 seconds depending on temperature, then turn farther clockwise to start.
