3320 Battery

Has anyone found an Optima battery to fit the 3320 without too many modifications? My original battery crapped out right after the warranty of course. I have looked at the Optima website but can't find anything that looks like it would work and a phone call to them was no help. Any help appreciated!

To anyone interested,

I wanted to get an Optima but unforunately couldn't find one in the correct size. Even called the Optima headquarters here in Colorado but they were no help at all. Finally gave in and went to the JD dealer to pick up a 22NF battery for $71 but didn't purchase since it had a whopping 90 day warranty. Don't know if this is company wide or just this specific dealer. Anyway, went to NAPA and they had 22NF's in stock for $85 with a 65 month warranty (18 month replacement, rest pro-rated). Still it beats the 90 day guarantee by a mile in my book!

22nf and group 51 batteries are very close in size.

I was able to find an optima 51 last year. I made a hold down mount out of a strip of 1/8 steel about 3/4 wide. I bent it into a "U" to fit around battery and drilled a hole in each end that lined up with the original battery mounts. No changes had to be made to original battery mounts. Now I can switch between the 22 and 51 sizes (if needed)
