33 years and counting

33 year wedding anniversary today, man how time flies. I was 20, she was 17 when we got married July 10 1982. Had our first child 1 year and 1 month after we got married, so no, we didn't have to get married. I have no idea what I would do without her, we are as Forest Gump would say, like peas and carrots. Both Leo's, not sure if that has anything to do with it but it has been 33 years of craziness. 3 kids, 1 Grandson and another Grandson on the way. I have no idea where the time went, but at 53, I have a lot more aches and pains than I did 33 years ago. Anyway, Happy Friday everyone and have a great weekend.

Congratulations!

We'll be married 30 this year. Time does fly! :D

Congratulations - you must have a very understanding wife - ha,ha. I'm so glad when I see folks that have been together a long time - it means, that for one thing, they have figured out how to resolve problems.

My wife passed six years ago and at that time we had been married 45 years. Hope you and the wife enjoy many, many more years.

Congrats, keep treating each other right.
49 years here as of last month. Most people don't believe me, but we have never raised our voices at one another, never had a fight. Disagreements are handled calmly and with mutual sincerity and mutual respect.

Now that's funny, I will have to show my wife this. Some of our disagreements are far from being handled appropriately, she says it's my fault and if 33 years has taught me anything she is 100% right.

Didn't marry a woman from Michigan huh?

Three men were sitting together bragging about how they had given their new wives duties. The first man had married a woman from Alabama and bragged that he had told his wife she was going to do all the dishes and house cleaning that needed done at their house. He said that it took a couple days, but on the third day he came home to a clean house and the dishes were all washed and put away.

The second man had married a woman from Florida. He bragged that he had given his wife orders that she was to do all the cleaning, dishes and the cooking. He told them that the first day he didn't see any results, but the next day it was better. By the third day his house was clean, the dishes were done and he had a huge dinner on the table.

The third man had married a Michigan girl. He boasted that he told her that her duties were to keep the house cleaned, dishes washed, lawn mowed, laundry washed and hot meals on the table for every meal. He said the first day he didn't see anything, the second day he didn't see anything, but by the third day most of the swelling had gone down and he could see a little out of his left eye. Enough to fix himself a bite to eat, load the dishwasher, and telephone a landscaper.
