no position control? that's one of my biggest complaints with the 2305, why would they do that on a machine of this size?

Hows these #s look

3120 18,984 + tax

3320 19,884 + tax

seems your dealer is basically giving you a fel no matter what tractor you buy.:D

I got my 3320 in September with a 300CX loader and an MX5 cutter for 21,000 out the door.

Jim,

If this tractor had position control, a backhoe option, and mid pto, it would really eat into 3x20 tractor sales. The second two I can understand, but what would it cost to have put position control on this tractor?

I don't know, I haven't really looked at the 2320 or 2520 to know how their position control works...I'm used to old steel where the lever stays where you put it. If these machines work the same way, one would think it to be a simple mod. now I'm gonna have to research what it'll take to mod the 2305...

See.. it wasn't that hard to spend your money :) I'm sure you will be happy with it. The 3320 is a nice machine.

Congratulations, you will love the 3320, the few hours I got to spend on mine convinced me I made the right choice.:D

Congrats Branded. Good choice. It can get real expensive to make the wrong choice, for the sake of initially saving a few $$$ and then have to upgrade later.

We have so many choices these days. Think about it for a moment. A JD 3320 is a far superior tractor to the Ford 2N + 4 horses that my father/grandfather had to run a 250 acre farm.

When I got my 3320 the dealer had a 3203 split in half from someone mounting a woods groundbreaker hoe to it. The machine is sub par. I haven't seen the 300x or cx offered for the 3203. That must be a custom install.

When you do the mod, post some pics! :)

I think the design of the valve is completely different, I don't think it's "a simple mod" to change it.

I'm hearing from the Kubota site that the 3203 is not built by John Deere. Can anyone enlighten me on this matter.

ABSOLUTELY FALSE!!! Has Yanmar engine...yes...manufactured in Augusta Georgia at the John Deere compact facility.

The 3203 is a stripped down 3320, basically same engine...
Different hydraulics...
