32$ Lesson in luck

While pushing over some dead pines I had one take a odd bounce as it hit the ground and broke into pieces, well the 4630 saved me but got a black eye for its troubles.

Yes it does actually but the 4 foot section of dead tree took a spin and just worked itself right around at the right angle and smashed the corner lens.

Yikes. I'll have to be careful in the future. I've been pushing a lot of branches and dead trees around.

You got off easy. So far in the last month cleaning up after Hurrican Rita I have lost 2 marker light lenses, poked a hole in a hydraulic line (fortunately it was the return line and I have a temporary patch on it) and bent the side panel on the engine cover. Plus a lot of scratched paint.

At one point I felt my left foot raising up where a limb was pushing on the bottom of the "floorboard" and had pushed it up about 3". I backed up and was able to push the sheet metal back down.

It's been a tough month around here!
