3130 GST 4WD 513 FEL In Garage

Well -- I have the 3130 now. It rained last night so I don't want to get it muddy or dirty yet so I haven't tried it out.

It is a good bit larger than the L3400.

It is a 3130 GST-F. I have looked at the manual, but I can't find out what the "F" stands for.

Also in the manual are many error messages that can come on the dash display concerning solenoids that have to do with the tractor shifting gears.

Anyway when the ground dries out some I will check it out.

Well it's not that muddy.

I don't have a digital camera. I have been meaning to buy one, but I don't know what kind to get. It will probably be an inexpensive one though.

Tomorrow I am getting the tractor out.

I had a 140 Farmall for 23 years and I used it hard pushing up brush with the scrape blade turned around. I used it to slope ditches on out property. I used it to pull logs that would make the front end barely touch the ground and I had to steer it with the brakes.

BUT this tractor is not going to receive that treatment. I plan to use it, but not strain it.

The 3130 has nice lights, turn signals, a tilt wheel, a nice seat; its just too nice to scratch or anything like that.

I'm the same way about my paint.
I don't worry much about straining my tractor, if I don't need to work it hard I don't but if nessasary to get the job done I will use everything the tractor will give me.
I just try to do it in a way that doesn't scratch my paint /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Based on the Kubota naming system, the -F refers to FOLDABLE ROPS. From the Kubota price list:

L3130GST-F 4WD tractor with 2 post high profile foldable ROPS 90.7" high

L3130GST-R 4WD tractror with 2 post standard rigid ROPS 84.3" high

L3130F-F 2WD tractor with 2 post high profile foldable ROPS 90.7" high

L3130F-R 2WD tractor with 2 post standard rigid ROPS 84.3" high
