I was wondering what the "usual" parts turnaround time would be at a local dealer.

I took my tractor to my dealer almost two weeks ago to get the PTO repaired. Talked with him today and he stated that the parts have not arrived yet. He said Kioti could not give him an answer as to when or if they were shipped.

This just sounds funny to me.

I need my tractor back, I'm having withdrawals.

Anyone else have any problems getting parts?

My dealer usually gets them within two days. I can't imagine why it's taking so long with three distribution centers full of parts. He may be waiting to get a load of other things with it and THAT is not ready. John

Ummm Kioti does to have parts at the new office.... i've seen them... If you would like i can show you the pictures....The parts department is still getting stocked back up from the move, they have also had a change in parts managers, and along with the new software things have been a nightmare. The old one didn't seem to do a very good job at ordering parts /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif ..... Kioti in Korea was on strike but that has since ended, every thing should be back up to normal within the next few weeks. I have had a few items on backorder but they have been pouring in to my dealership within the last 4 days...... Just some growing pains in a tractor mfg. that has really taken off fast. Rest assured you shouldn't be down much longer.

it was a "shifting fork" in the PTO. It would go into the 540 RPM setting but would not stay engaged under a load. This is my second 40 mile one way haul to the dealer for the same problem. The first time they didn't get it fixed, so I had to haul it back. Hopefully they will get it done before the weekend. I have several food plots to sow and the 3 day weekend coming up is about my only chance to get it done.

Every time I go down to my dealership there's no Kioti tractors.I ask why and they tell me they can't get any.I asked about parts and they laugh, can't get any of them either and was explained to me about the move and the inventory run down before the move.I thought they were just saying it because they'd rather sell there Mahindra line now instead of Kioti.

Things aren't nearly as bad as they had been. Tractors are trickling in all over now and things should get much better fairly quickly from what I can find out.
One thing that really held things up was the problem with Titan Tires not having either fronts or rears for many models. This should be just about solved now as they seem to be catching up. A LOT of Kioties have been sold over the last 6 months, more than I think they anticipated. John

hrmm.... I do find that really odd, as I have a lot full of Kioti tractors and even more due in over the next few days. I never dropped below 10 tractors during the move. KiotiJohn is right about titan tires, Titan was over a month behind in producing tires ,not something Kioti or any tractor mfg can control. Parts I have had a few backorders, but those are nearly caught back up, and when they do i expect that everything will go back to normal. Before the move I could have virtually any part for any Kioti at my dealership in 3 days UPS ground.

Called the dealer again today...still no parts. He says he is having trouble talking to a real person at Kioti. Said he has left several voice mails but no return calls from Kioti.

He can't even tell me if the parts have been shipped.

Looks like to me that Kioti would try to take better care of their dealers ordering parts.

Maybe they will come soon.

I found out today that the parts only come from the Wendell, NC location. The other warehouses are for whole goods only. However, my dealer states that he usually gets ordered parts within only a few days. I'm beginning to wonder about dealers who continually say they can't get Kioti to respond, when so many other dealers are having no problems at all. John
As for the strike in Korea, which is over now, it was all of the laborers in the country, not just Kioti workers. Even at that, it only takes 2 weeks over the water to get the parts to Wendell. I'm wondering about your dealer.

Kioti also gets in many air orders from Korea as well as ocean. I did get word that they just got a large shipment. Phone lines have been busy at Kioti but i always manage to get though, just have to be paitent and keep calling.

Mgrick Who is your dealer?
It sounds like he is lazy!
I have ordered many of parts and received in a very timely fashion, even the ones that had to come from over seas!

I don't know what's going on at that dealership.Luckily I don't need any parts.Earlier this year I noticed he only had a couple of Kioti tractors on his lot.I asked why and he said he couldn't get the BH's and a lot of people when they buy a tractor want a BH to go with it.So that's why he was selling more Mahindra's.A couple of weeks ago I stopped in to get an oil and hydraulic filter and he only had a DK40 on his lot and a ton of Mahindra's.I asked if he had gotten in any of the new models and his reply was a quick no.He just said he couldn't get any tractors! And I find that hard to believe.Last year he always seemed to keep a decent amount of Kioti's on his lot and was selling them left and right.Maybe he can make more money pushing and selling the Mahindra line now.
