3054 oil filter?

Is the napa 1182 the right filter for the 3054? A have it and it's a lot longer than the original one.(unless the one on it is wrong). I also heard the napa 1287 is suppose to be the right one. /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif????

i have the 3054. The manual says nothing about which filter. I can physically check today to see which mine has.

go to wix, fram , and baldwin they have some crosses.

Went to local parts store, they gave me a wix 51182 filter, looks the same as the napa1182. I put it on and hoping all is well. Was wondering why these are longer than the daedong filter.

They are the same filter.
Napa uses Wix filters. Take the first digit off the Wix filter # and you have the Napa filter #.

That is the correct filter. As long as you have room for the added length you will be fine.

You can also use Fram PH2921 (come in Kioti friendly orange) also STP S6941, Puralator L20287, Mobil M1401 in addition to the Wix 51182. The NAPA I believe is 1187 not 1182 and that may explain the length issue.

My Napa filter catalog has no listing of a 1187 filter in it.
It shows the 1182 as the correct filter.

The added length could pose a problem. The side panel sits and vibrates on the end so be mindful of the panel wearing a hole in the filter
