3020 Clutch pedal sticking

Hello,
First time to post a note. I have a nice 1963 3020 synchro that looks and runs great. I have just started to have problems letting out the clutch. It disengages okay but when you let it out, it stops about halfway and will eventually come up fully but can pop the clutch and a little dangerous. Each gear works fine and everything operates as it should. Any ideas before I have someone split it open? I did make sure hydraulic oil is full.

Is clutch pedal return spring(parts key 2) in place and not stretched out? If spring is attached & not stretched out then I'd suggest to remove inspection cover in the bottom of clutch housing for a visual inspection of clutch control components.

Ok thanks a lot for that! The spring needs to be replaced so I will do that first. The one on it does look old and flimsy. Dumb question: does the main hydraulic fluid share lubrication for the tranny? Could that be a problem that it's not getting properly lubed??

Trans & diff share the same oil. Clutch housing is a separate compartment that should have no oil in it.

Ok thank you again. It's a great cutting and baling tractor and general use for what I paid and I just want to keep it going.

Shaft #8 is probably sticking in the clutch housing. Spray some penetrating oil on both ends and work to pedal up and down while lubing. That will probably help. Also have you removed the bottom cover and lubed the throw out bearing grease fitting? The pto bearing has a remote fitting on the outside of the clutch housing. These fittings also grease the slide tubes to make things work smoothly.
