Mahindra 3016 Shuttle Shift with 115 Loader; Craftsman YS4500 42" Cut
So now that I am an owner of a shuttle 3016, are there any weak points on the tractor I should watch out for?

Preform preventative main. religiously. Don't push tractor beyound its abilitiy, and follow all operator instructions in manual. Use don't abuse. If you don't follow this advise the operator become the weakest point. Take care of your tractor and it will take care of you, Congrates on your new tractor.

There you go.

Everything I've read about the 3016 say it's a robust machine, of high quality. Slightly higher performance numbers than average, 100% Mitsubishi built. And that's a good thing!

Give it 5 minutes to warm up and at this time of year, to cool down, at about 1/2 rated speed. Keep everything greased, break it in gradually. Always check fluids before starting work. Keep the air filter and radiator screen clean. Use good, clean fuel, with an additive (like Diesel Kleen) to be on the safe side.

Thanks guys. Any weak points on the loader to watch for? Besides keeping in well greased?

Any areas of the loader that are weak? Bucket? Tractor? As in will bend easier if I try to use a certain area a certain way. Like if I hooked a chain around the bucket is there a chance I will bend it when picking up things.

I guess I mean mainly cosmetic as far as bending sheet metal or loader and things such as that.

You just have to watch what you're doing. These things are tough, but they can be damaged. The hydraulics have a relief valve so if you overload the bucket, it just won't go up.
Don't use the bucket as a ram.
Carry loads as low as possible.
When digging or prying, always approach the pile or object head-on, near the center of the cutting edge, so you don't torque, or twist the loader arms.
Dragging the bucket backwards in "float" mode is a great way to smooth dirt or spread stone. Be sure to use the heel of the bucket, that is, with the bucket fully curled up. DO NOT try to drag backwards or dig forwards with the bucket edge angled down. Ok, maybe not NEVER, but wait until you have some seat time and after that, do it SLOWLY AND CAREFULLY. There probably is no faster way to damage something on the loader
Put a toothbar on that bucket. It will dig 1,000% better, be much more usable for carrying or dragging brushy materials and will give you something to hook chains to.
Use and practice will teach you what it's strengths are. Don't be shy about coming back here and asking questions or bragging about the work you got done!

Thanks familyman!!! Ive got 21 hours on it already and I just got it a few weeks ago. Funny how quick you can put the hours on a machine.

Sounds like very productive time! Post some shots, when you get a chance.
