3010 delivered next Monday

My brand new 3010 with FEL is being delivered next Monday and I'm like a kid waiting for Christmas!

Anything I should look for or ask when it gets here?

Some thing’s I thought of myself: Make sure mid and rear PTO's have their covers. Check that FEL lines are color marked and have their caps. Check hour meter, make sure it doesn't have more than it should (I'm guessing 3-4 hrs is normal?) Check fluid levels.

Anything else you guys can think of? The salesman who sold me the tractor (actually saleskid would be more appropriate, he looks only to be about 24) is bringing the tractor down himself. He said he’d go over all of the tractor functions when he gets to my place, so I want to be prepared.

Congrats! I just purchased a 3010 a month ago and love it. Make sure they start the tractor, operate the FEL, 3 pt. hitch, show you how to operate everthing, etc. Make sure everything runs smoothly and nothing leaks. Most dealers have an inspection checklist - make sure they give you one and make sure everthing is checked. My hour meter only had 1 hour on it but depending on how many test drives were done you can expect 2-4. Have fun!

Sounds Like FUN!

The previous post listed most of the top items. You should also have them take off and put on the FEL, and do it your self too. As it's getting into winter, you should also go over the cold weather starting and warm up procedure with them.

Other items that newbees run into are hooking up the PTO. There is a sliding collar that you have to slide back with one hand, while slipping the coupler on to the PTO with the other. No big deal, unless you don't know about it!
