Hi::)

I am planning to buy a John Deere 3720.

Please explain the difference between the 300X or 300CX loader.

Thank you,
Regards,

CX=quick park/easy removal and higher capacity. Someone else may have specs--I don't have them off the top of my head

Hi frits, CX lifts more weight and a little higher at pivot and has power beyond options unlike the than 300x . Only real difference is the size in cylinders I believe. More attachment options for the CX too. Wish the 790 came standard with at least the 300x instead of the 300.

The 300x and cx both are quick park the lift height and capacity are the main differences. The 300x will lift a like 1325lbs and the cx about 1560 if memoery serves. The cx has a prgressive link on the dump cylinders. Otherwise I believe the cx just has larger cylinders. I think the cx isn't too much more than the x. And you can never have too much capacity right.

Matt;)

the cx does have larger cylinders. the cylinders will also hold up to repetitive use better than those of the x.

Is there not very much difference in the strength of the loader's arms?

I just purchased a used 3520 with a 300X loader. I noticed if the bucket is a foot or so off the ground and I stand up in it on either the far right or left side, the arms of the loader seem to shift quite a bit. I am concerned about stressing things if I pick up a load that isn't exactly centered, such as some broken up concrete, field rocks, etc.

According to a ballast calculator on Deere's website, the 300X weighs 803 lbs and the 300CX weighs 879 lbs. Since the difference is only 76 lbs, it seemed like spruce Deere might be correct that the only difference is the size of the cylinders.

So, does anyone have any thoughts on this? Is the 300CX loader more sturdy or just have more capable cylinders?

Steve
