John Deere 3320 - gator cx - JD 425
Does anyone know if the 3000twenty series is due for any styling changes or updates anytime soon. I was just curious.

I bet they do it soon just to get to the new naming convention.

Don't expect anything soon...at least not next year.

They won't change to the new numbering/naming system until the unit itself goes through a re-design - such as when the 4310 became the 3320... I am of the same understanding as gamble - we should not see any major changes in the 2x20 or 4x20 lineup next year.

I was really hoping that when JD came out with the 2720, they would offer this model with an A/C cab. Right now, the B3030 cab has caught my eye with options like 3 speed hydro, tilt wheel, cab with radio options, position control, top and tilt option, 4 cylinder diesel. With temperatures reaching over 100 degrees, I would pay the additional cost to get a cab. I still bleed green, and the 2305 has been a great trouble free tractor. :)I looked at the 3000 series tractor, but was really too large for my needs. I can only hope that JD will come up with their version of this very special sized tractor.

I hear ya. I keep asking for an air conditioned z-track.

Unfortunately I have been told, in no uncertain terms, that we will NOT see a 2x20 series tractor with a factory cab. With or without A/C. There is a factory cab available on the 2x20's in Europe, but it is without A/C and is very cost prohibitive to import into our market. There is definitely interest for it out there (including myself) but I don't see it happening

Bleed Green, thanks for the update. I kind of thought that was the case when I saw no option available when JD came out with the 2720 last year. It is tough for a consumer knowing what he wants and can't get it. I can
only imagine how tough it is for a dealer.:)

ddivinia, I would have to jump on that if JD went that route! Can you imagine a 997 with A/C? :D

How about a nice 1400 Series Front Mower with Hard Cab and A/C??? ;)

I really need the FEL and also have some 3 point implements. However, that is one nice mower!:D

I have heard talks of JD and Yanmar winding down their relationship. If this is a fact and not just a rumor, there might be enough shake up to produce a JD version of the B3030. I know, I am dreaming.;)

I was wondering if that was going to happen, since Yanmar bought into the Cub Cadet line. Wonder what engines they would use.

If this is the case, I am not too concerned. JD wants customer satisfaction and with all the tractor companies competing with each other, they will either build the engines themselves or find a good reputable company. I also am not worried with having a JD with a Yanmar engine. Great engines with a company geared on customer service.:)

I hear ya...I've owned 3 JD tractors -670,4210 and currently 3320. Never once did I have a problem with the Yanmar engines in these tractors. At least not yet anyway....
