Worth every penny?
Yes..

I just received my tractor back with the new air ride seat and auto cruise control.
The seat was much more that what I expected.
I bought it because the standard seat just didn't have enough adjustment to keep my rear end from bottoming out. Not only does this new seat offer a lot more adjustment, but the damping smoothes out the roughest terrain and removes all bounce..
It also occilates forward and backward, and it offers side to side movement. It's a nicely designed piece.
If you guys are looking to smooth out the bumps, trust me, it's MORE than worth the price.

Is that a John Deere item? Or is it an aftermarket item?

I'm afraid to ask... how much? I assume it takes an external air source??

I'm not sure what the total price will be with installation, but list was $495.00.

My salesman said he would treat me right..
Yes, it's a Deere part and the air pump is a part of the seat package.

Thanks for the info. I been wondering myself if it is worth the money. Our pastures are not smooth and if you try to go fast on the 4310 you better "suck it in" /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

Sounds like a good option.

The 5420 with the bigger wheels is much better but then again it has a better quality suspended seat.
