300 CX FEL not detaching

My 400 CX loader was binding on the front bumper and would not set down in place properly. It took several attempts to get it on and off to make the loader set in place. I assume both loaders are made the same, but I'm only guessing. I only have 19 hours on my tractor and I've never attempted to remove it by myself. You might check the slots that set into the front bumper to make sure it's not in a bind. Just a thought.

Like Browns40 said, check the parking latch cap screw. The procedure in noted in the manual. The loader can be installed in two ways: Removable and Non-Remove. When installed as a non-remove loader, the capscrew is set tight against the mast pad.

I would back off the cap screw so that when the latches are up, there is about a 1cm space between the latch and the cap screw when the lift arms are up (bucket off the ground) - then drive the machine around on some bumpy ground and it should loosen everything up.

I drove mine around for a year like that (thanks to dealer install) before i figured out things should be a little tighter.....

Interesting thought - loosen the latch cap screw and use it.
I moved several truck loads of dirt this evening, probably should have read this first. I'll give it a try.

I bent the parking bar and didn't notice it. Check to see if you did the same thing.
