I'm planning to pull the trigger on an FEL within the next few weeks (should have done it when I purchased the tractor, but better late than never). I've done some reading on the differences between 3-way and 4-way valves. The info is good but somewhat confusing.

I understand the mechanical difference between the valves - what I am interested to learn is what the functional differences to the owner/operator are. How is it set up? How does it affect daily use? Etc...

First, let me say that do not anticipate purchasing a front blade or other front mount attachments in the future - just the FEL.

Are there any good reasons to upgrade to the 4-way valve for my application? (occasional light material handling and other odd chores).

Any advice/opinions/info from FEL owners?

You would have a faster dump cycle with the four way as your biggest advantage.
