3 video tapes on Ebay

I bought 3 video tapes on E-bay(Camel Trophy) and they were shipped over here from Great Britian.None of them play in my VCR,it looks like a tracking problem but no where I adjust it do I get a picture....just distortion.I can hear a little sound when they are playing,one tape when it plays the audio sounds like and old 33 1/3 lp cranked up to a 45 RPM record,it sounds like cousin it from the Adams family talking.And all of my other tapes I already have play fine.

Great Britan uses the PAL VHS standard. The United States uses the NTSC VHS format. They are not the same. These systems are not compatible.

You can get them converted. The costs may run $5-10 per tape, so I don't know if it is worth it to you or not. Look in yellow pages for "video duplication" services.
