hello, my box blade hung me up on the edge of a dirt bank and i used my fel to work loose, but it looks like in the process i jammed the 3-pt in the up position, i,ve put weight on it & tried to "bump" it loose. i don't see that anything has come undone in the hydraulics. has anyone had this happen to them or does anyone have any ideas how to lower it.

thanks for your help

What kind of tractor do you have? Most of the time that's happened, it's been because the valve that regulates the speed with which the 3-point lowers was closed. Do you have a knob in front of the seat that adjusts that speed? If so, turn it counterclockwise and see if it lowers. If not, sorry I wasn't more help.

I don't have 1st hand knowledge of this but have seen some posts on the subject. They say it happens when the 3ph lift is lifted, by outside forces, higher than the hydraulics can lift it, and pulls a piston out of its cylinder. You have to remove the top plate of the 3ph mech. and guide the piston back into the cylinder by hand.
