3 pt not working ?

I have a S-373 and the 3 pt quit going up and down could it be low on fluid ? if so where is the fill plug and also does it have a dipstik I can not find anywhere to ck or add gear oil Thanks for any help

go to this site Valley Power. click on the tabs . you will find a lot of useful info.if there is no filler plug on top of the transmission.you may have to fill it through the fluid level hole on the side of the case.it could be low fluid .clogged screen or other problen.you have to check the fluid first to make sure it has enough.

My 372 has the rubber cap for filling purposes.
The level hole is I belive on the L/H side, it is a bolt head @ halfway up the side of the tranny.
I had a stuck 3pt once on the 372, the tractor had sat for a good while and the piston stuck (for whatever reason) so all I did was put the bush hog on it and jump up and down on the bush hog till it broke free. It has worked fine since and that was @ 5 years ago.
