On the G152, does the 3 pt hitch go down by gravity or hydraulic, positive pressure? Can the hitch be moved upward by hand? Or does it take hydraulic pressure again? If using a post hole digger, if there's no pressure downward save gravity, is hole digging possible?

The G152 3pt. goes down under the weight of the implement. there is no positive down pressure, just on the up side. If the post hole digger is heavy enough I supose it should work. I guess it would depend on what kind of soil your augering into.

Not sure exactly what your asking about bringing the 3pt. up by hand? I suppose if the hydraulics (i.e. tractor) is shut down you should be able to move the hitch up or down by hand. I would loosen the restrictor valve t- handle (under the seat) before i tired it though. Might save your back!! :D
