Just curious what you all think about this. Came across this thing and can't decide if it's something I need or not.

Well, unless you are a really good/fast driver (or had two tractors), you'll never be able to dump stuff from your FEL into the dump bucket.................. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I don't need one, but maybe you do..........

I'm with RonR on this one. What would you use it for? How would you get materials in it? Might work for hauling stuff around, like firewood, etc. Stuff you would use a cart for normally. Or as a replacement for a wheelbarrow. A rear scoop might be a better, more useful investment IMHO.

Let us know what you decide.

Looks like a lawn cart wagon bed bolted onto a carry-all.

Worthwhile? Maybe, depending on your needs.

Worthless? Maybe, depending on how much you paid or are willing to pay. The carryall is worth at least $50 by itself and the wagon bed maybe $20.

Would I buy it? For $50 or less I would.

Now here's a guy who can see the forest thru the trees - or is that the other way around? Personally, I thought it to be questionable in design, just about worthless actually, although I suppose it might be an ok carryall/dumpbox as is for somebody without a FEL. Anyways, Mad got it right, my interest was for the frame as starter material for my own custom designed carryall. The pic is all I have to go by, so I don't know what support frame is under the box, or if it is beefy enough to even make an offer on. BTW, owner is asking $150.

Think I'd tell the owner that for $150, I'd like to see him keep it, since it means so much to him. /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif

Interesting attachment, but it'd be nearly useless to me. Maybe for fire wood, or bags of feed, but I'd find it hard to justify.
Of course if it were given to me...that's a different story. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

I'd have to agree with that recommendation. /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif

Hmm, especially for $150, I vote worthless. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

You can buy the steel (2.5" x 1/4" angle) and lift pins and top link pin for a carry-all for about $50 depending on your steel supplier's prices. Professionally designed plans for a carry-all will cost another $7. If all you want is a carry-all look alike then roll your own and let some other uninformed sucker buy the "dump bucket".

Well, since I would only care for the framing, I'm sure he isn't interested selling for what I think it's worth. The shipping weight/freight force you to buy local IMO. Unfortunately, I haven't found one local for the right price yet, new or used. Best off to scrounge some tubing and go at it myself I think. Man, I gotta get a welder. /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif

Most farm stores, TSC/farmfleet etc, carry this kind of thing. Check for one near you. My local TSC wants about $85.
