3 pt control lever problem

My 3 pt control lever is constantly sliding down. Seems like the friction has been lost. Haven't had time to dive into it. Any experience/guidance? Thanks.

I believe the manual says how to tighten the friction disk, but its pretty intuitive if you get a close look at it. Might be a task getting to it.
