FYI - An easy way to add an extra 500 lbs or so. I chained a 55 gallon drum to my 3 pt carry all and filled it with water. My tires are also loaded, but the extra weight on the 3 pt did make a difference. Also, I mounted a garden hose adapter where the small bung was, attached hose with drum lifted, and I had enough water pressure from gravity to water a few remote trees/plants & what not - but make sure the drum is cleaned out good as not to kill what you're watering.

good idea - I just used some expanded steel mesh and a couple pieces of angle iron to make a bracket on my box blade and stack buckets full of concrete on it when i need the extra ballast. (can also use the buckets as tent weights for the "portable garage")
