Power brooms generally range from 60-100 gallons of water to keep dust down by sweeping on concrete and asphalt. At our place you could dump it all in one spot in July and not even get your boots muddy.

I have made portable pressure washers using 50 gallon drums. I use a 12 volt intercooler pump to prime, you don't need it after that, for my pressure washer. Might be able to wash a full size truck twice, if it's just dusty and not muddy...

Water trucks for road work generally range from 1800-6000 gallons.

On all of my power washing trailers, I set the tank up higher than the pump inlet so they will self prime. But my smallest tank is 150 gallons so there is some force there. I also always run a "T" valve off of the tank with one side going to the washer, and one side for when I just need some water, also allows for easy draining.

I put a 300 gallon tote on an old trailer that I found abandoned on my land. It needed new tires and a few modifications to make it work. I put some treated blocks under one side of the tote so it was angled at the back so everything would drain out. I like the trailer idea because I can pull it with my Mule, or a tractor that doesn't have anything attached to it. Usually that's my little 37 hp tractor.
