Jinma 304
Hello All again,
I was working my tractor today with a Ganon loaded on the 3 Pt. hitch and after about an hour I noticed that the stabilizers had both pulled out of their mounts, I guess their are 2 of them that go through a chain that hold them up, I think that the chain must have pulled through the small pins.
Anyone had this problem??
Also, my tractor, which is a Jinma 304 does not come up to temp, even after 2 Hours of Hard work??? Any idea's

Thanks again all,
Rick

I don't quite understand what you are talking about with regard to your stabilizers. I know some models use chains but my 284 uses telescoping rods with holes and pins. In this case, a picture of what is wrong, might be worth a lot of words.

As for the engine not comming up to temp. Have you pulled the thermostat housing? One of the recent threads described some thermostat issues. Some issues that have been mentioned were the wrong thermostat in there(57 deg C instead of 80 deg C). Another mentioned finding the thermostat stood on edge, allowing nearly full flow all the time. Yet another described the gaps around the top of the thermo that allowed excessive water to bypass to the radiator delaying warmup. Is there even a thermostat in it?

Are you sure the gauge works? You could remove the sender and re-connect the wire. Nuke a cup of hot water and place the sender in it along with a thermometer so you know the water temp in the cup. Turn on the key and see if the temp gauge agrees with the thermometer in the cup?

I am at work and do not have a picture, but I will try to better explain.
On my 3 Pt hitch the stabilizers have 2 links of chain on both ends of a telescoping rod, just like the rod that is used on the top link of the 3 point hitch, except smaller. The 2 links of chain at the furthest end from the tractor hitch up to the lower arms of the 3 pt., and the other 2 chain links closest to the rear end of the tractor connect just below where the fenders mount, using a small pin that pushes through a hole on the frame and then secures using a clip. It appears the small clip some how slipped through the chain link. It appears the Chain link holes are much larger than the collars that they use. I was think maybe I will use a shackle or clevis instead.
What are everyone else's thoughts?
Thanks again,
Rick

OK, I think I understand. Perhaps there is supposed to be a washer under that keeper pin to keep it from pulling through?

Yes, use a clevis or whatever it's called.
Mine broke off a long time ago and attached is a picture of how I fixed it. Both sides were fixed at the same time. Put some high strength thread lock on the threads.

As far as operating temp goes - Jinma installs a 57*c thermostat. Some dealers state that is the only t-stat available. The only way to fix it right is to click on this link.

Thanks GuglioLS,
That is exactly my problem and it appears you have the correct fix by installing a Klevis. Thanks again,
Rick
