600 ford
i recently bought a 600 ford, when i got it the lift wouldn't lift, so i found a rebuilt one, now im thinking it my not be properly set-up, first problem is the lift dosen't lift very high, and it has a hicup when it is all the way up,i was wondering if the 3 point arms ( the ones that are on the rocker shaft) could be moved as to raise my 3 point lift, i have to raise the lift so it will go high enuff to hook to my bush hogg.

nope.. there are key-splined.

best to fix it rather than try to out think the engineers that designed it in t he first place.

the hiccup at the top is likely a hunt. as in .. a leakdown from the high pressure circuit..then circuit regeneration.

a 15$ kit gets you all the orings and gaskets under the cover.

there is also a dowel pin that rides a cam that rotates with the 3pt upper arm rockshaft.

when that pin wears.. you loose resoloution. pin is hard. cam it rides is case.. thus the cam usually wears too. but it wears in profile.

easy to weld back up and file down to proper contour using the witnes markt hat is left. then you press the old pin out..put in a new, preferably longer one that rides the entire cam surface.. adjsut lift using shop manual using the optional method that does not need the nuday tools and go.
