I have a Kubota BX2230 and looking for a log splitter and considering a 3-point log splitter attachment. I found a 15-ton splitter on the Gearmore website - Model LS20E. I'd like some feedback if anyone has experience with this splitter and how it might work on a sub-compact tractor. My biggest concern is the hydraulic pump output on the tractor is 5.5 gpm, but the log splitter manual recommends 8-15 gpm at 1500-2500 PSI.

Then why are you even considering it in the first place? It's simply not enough tractor. I don't believe you'll find a 4" splitter for a tractor that small. You should consider dropping down to a 3". Here's a possibility: Amazon.com: Powerhorse Horizontal Log Splitter - 3 Pt., 13-Ton Ram Force, 3in. x 18in. Cylinder: Home Improvement

Welcome to TBN:D

The splitter will work, but it will be SLOW. There are MANY post's here on TBN about 3PH splitters and the positives/negatives of them if you search a little.
