3 Point hitch will not raise

My 3 point hitch will not raise my rear scraper blade on my B7100HST, front FEL works fine what gives any ideas?

check and see if you have a flow control knob somewhere on the machine. It's used to control the speed of the 3pt lift arms. If it is slowed down to nothing you will have the problem you describe. I found that out on my BX.

Agree with stump grinder as this just happened to me yesterday. I bought a new box blade yesterday and went to hook it up for the first time. My 3PH also would not lower until I realized that I slowed the flow control knob down too much after disconnecting my post hole digger last week. Not sure where your knob is located but a lot of them are located under the front side of the seat near the floor pan.

I thought flow control on the 3pts only controls the lowering speed not the raise function?

Will your 3pt not raise at all or only when the box blade is on it?

When you try to raise it do you hear it trying to do something, like pulling the engine down some/strain? Do you hear fluid moving when you try?

I had that problem, one afternoon. I had to get that pile of mulch moved, so I removed the blade on the rear & continued to work. A couple hours later, I noticed it was working again.

In my case - I think it was dirt in the valve.
